4th of July/Big Boy Burger Fun

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July celebrating this beautiful country we call home.

We had a low key day, but did enjoy a backyard barbecue with friends. I threw together a cute centerpiece, using an old Coca Cola crate, gingham check plates & napkins and anchored by my vintage Marx's Big Boy. We were grilling burgers, so this hamburger wielding fella was just the perfect crowning touch!

His checkered overalls went perfectly with my plates and napkins.

just a simple bit of table decor to add to this festive day.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. OH Jane I had to smile to see your Big Boy. I grew up in Michigan and Big Boy was our favorite hamburger. We still have to stop for lunch when we go to Michigan. I love your sweet guy and the fun vignette you made for the 4th. Have a great weekend.

  2. Did you know there is a Big Boy still up and running in Marquette MI? We always go there for their breakfast when we are in that area. The one here used to make THE BEST spaghetti (for a non-Italian place). Love your sweet bits and pieces on the table for the 4th. What fun! Have a great night- xo Diana

  5. I love the Bigboy. It brought back memories of when I was little and once a month we would go to one for dinner.
