We Are Home In Kentucky

 Hi friends!

Well, it has been a whirlwind the past few weeks but we managed to move from Wisconsin to our new home in Kentucky. We closed on our KY home on August 10th and moved in on August 12th.

Our main reason for our move was to be near our two month old grandson, daughter and son in law.

This was a Christmas gift from our daughter and son in law last year and we are excited to give it a place of honor at our door!

We've been busy unpacking and organizing, but I just had to play around a little bit.  This will all change, but it is nice to have a little area amid the chaos.

I carved out a cozy spot in our kitchen overlooking the backyard. I was going to sell this chair prior to our move but changed my mind at the last minute. I'm so glad because it really works in this space. There is a sweet family of deer that congregate in our backyard a few times a day and this is a good spot to watch them.

Hoping to get back to some  normalcy - its been a crazy year. I really do want to get back into posting, to visiting and commenting on blogs. I've had some false starts, but I think I finally will have the time to be more consistent. Fingers crossed!  Thanks to all of you who have hung with me and to those of you who are new. I appreciate you all.
