It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year
Hi friends,
The calendar page has turned from November to December and that means the Christmas season is upon us!
This year we will be celebrating in our new state and home in Northern Kentucky which is very exciting for us. While we probably won't have a white Christmas like we usually had in Wisconsin, we are more than blessed to be living close to our daughter, sil and five month old grandson. What a Christmas it will be!
I've got lots of Christmas decor to share and today I am kicking it off with a plea to Santa Claus!
Happy Holidays Y'All!
Love your lil banner Jane! Does it not snow in Northern Kentucky? Janice
ReplyDeleteHi Janice! Yes, about 18" total most years - small potatoes compared to WI. We brought our snow shovel, but left our snowblower behind.
DeleteI am so happy for you that you are enjoying seeing your daughter, SIL and that sweet grandbaby. Have fun getting ready for Christmas.xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteI don't know---Illinois is between the N.Pole and Kentucky---you might have to wait just a bit. This made me smile...scraping Christmas together, realizing, I haven't done a full on decor since 2018 with the knee and then covid! Hugs, see you again soon! Sandi
ReplyDeleteJane, that is the right amount of sendoff for Santa this year. Can't wait to see your new home at Christmas..Happy Holidays my friend..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteJane, I have been wondering about you and the tornado in Kentucky. Was it close to you? What devastation..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteFortunately for us, we are about four hours from Mayfield. I was worried, especially since the house next door burned to the ground in a storm last summer - they just started rebuilding a few weeks ago. Forecasters had been predicting our area would see the bad weather, but the system shifted. It is heartbreaking what happened that night. Those poor people have a very long recovery ahead of them. Thanks for wondering about us sweet Judy!
