Fall Home Tour/Owner's Suite

Hello again friends!

Thank you so very much for stopping by my little blog today.  As we continue touring our home for fall, today we are looking at our owner's suite.  My favorite feature of this room is the little vestibule you must pass through to enter.

I have placed a chalk painted, vintage hall tree in this space and the little lamp & candle provide such a cozy glow.

You get a peek of this room from the living area and I love seeing a glimpse of my Kirklands blanket ladder with seasonal throws on display. I have another blanket ladder on the opposite side of the bed.

The two barnlights we brought along from our old house.  They were inexpensive Amazon finds that can be used with a plug in cord or hardwired.  At our previous home, we used the cords and had them in our living room. Since we built our current home, we hardwired them this time and they cast off the most beautiful, soft light.  They were just $30 for the pair!

This little faux fireplace is actually a wax warmer from Wal-Mart (say that three times fast, ha!). Isn't it cute?

I soaked my terra cotta pots in salt water, let them dry and then added a coat of stain and some chalk paint to give them the look of patina.  I typically have green plants or green garden orbs in them, but placed a buffalo check pumpkin  for a fall touch.

This pretty little mirror once belonged to my maternal grandma and has always hung somewhere in all of my homes. I love the history!

I'm on the hunt for two more similar mirrors to hang above the other nightstand.

I hope you enjoyed the tour. I'll be back soon!

Thanks for stopping by,

Come party with me:

  1. That tart warmer is the most darling one I have seen! I am also on the hunt for one more hand held antique mirror for my bath. Yours are lovely and how nice to have one from your grandma. Loving your Fall decor in your bedroom. I did not decorate any of my bedrooms this year. I have an antique ladder that is in our back room which I hang blankets and coverlets on. A nice idea to have it in your bedroom! Janice
